Yeah. He's the dickhead dad who banished his eldest son Samwell to the Night's Watch in favor of his more martially inclined son Dickon. He needs to die. Horribly.

I do believe that lovely sand snake is poisoned and dead.

Bronn knows all too well about the poison... and that it has a remedy. Remember who gave him the remedy?

Yep. But it's pretty immediate, as I remember, and she's chained up. Not gonna hold out hope for this one. In a more conventional show, maybe.

That sand snake died within a day. Meanwhile, for the events to transpire in the past two episodes, would take several months of time.

I saw it too and thought it was cool. A lot of the times, to me, the 'making of' is at least as cool as the show or movie itself.

One thing that wasn't mentioned. In the dragonglass cave Jon showed Daenerys drawings of Children of the Forest fighting together with humans against the white walkers. That's a pretty big departure from the storyline in the books.

If memory serves, the humans chased the Children so badly to extinction and all the way to the North of Westeros that one point the Children said "f**k all that" and used powerful magic to create the white walkers, so as to balance some the power and destructive drive of the humans. The Children could protect themselves from the white walkers using magic. But I don't think that at any point did the Children and the humans fight the dead together, in brotherly admiration and support...

What Jon isn't telling us is that he picked up a rock in the cave and carved out those pictures himself so he could convince Dany to believe him.

I guess Lord Tarly is not going to need that sword after all.

Interesting finding by Gilly. I kind of suspected it, but it appears Jon is no bastard, and therefore the true king of Toys-R-Us. Whatever that means given the impending invasion by the slow walkers.

Littlefinger seems to be playing Aria and Sansa. Things are getting good at Winterfell.

We'll see how it goes. The season is going fast.

Wish granted... Now the future of House Tarly rests exclusively in the hands of Samwell and his wildling girl. Randal Tarly would be turning in his... oh, wait, he can't.

I suspect -- nay, hope -- there'll be a spin. Bran can see a whole effing lot, and he already gave Arya a cool dagger. I think it should fit Littlefinger's neck quite well if Bran were to snitch on him.

They have to. And seems like a George Martin trademark. In the books he went on to create this enormous universe in Westeros that later on he could barely manage and contain. When he reached the Vale (book 3 or 4, I think), he didn't have neither time nor space so he ended up basically listing all the different smaller houses without much of an explanation or description. Holds for the whole GoT universe as well: Way too big and with politics too intricate to decently explore in the author's lifetime, or in any TV series that wishes to have an end season at some point. So it's not all that surprising to me that they're spinning the narrative to light speed mode and eagerly cutting a whole number of corners.

On an unrelated note, it felt weird to me that Jon would be going so eagerly beyond the wall. To convince Cersei of anything reasonable? To make an appeal to her sense of altruism and for the greater good? The risk/reward trade-off makes no sense to me here. I expect the books, if they're published in my lifetime, will present these things quite a bit differently.

I don't think Jon or Dany know how fucked up in the head Saucy is. However, Tyrion should know her by now. Though probably he thinks Jaimito has some pull on her. We just found out he does not. I'm actually concerned Bronn will not make it to the next episode and may be a catalyst for Jaimito to leave her. She is "pregnant" though. I suspect that pregnancy will be the end of her.

Yes, things are a bit complicated in Toys-R-Us. Dany's military got a little bigger now though. I'm wondering about the Unsullied and Euron Groinjoy. Maybe No-worm kicked his ass somehow?

As far as Jon going to the get some Deadmen Walking, I think he feels he is expendable and that perhaps all hope rests on the other leaders. I somewhat disagree with his view about himself. But dunno.

Fermented crabs: Don't eat that shit. Untold side effect: Pipi can dry and fall.

Littlefinger needs to be careful otherwise Arya is going to cut his dick off with that super sharp dagger.

It would be poetic. Littlefinger used that knife to stir up some shit against the Starks, with Bran in the middle of it. Now Bran gives that same knife to Arya, and Littlefinger is with them at Winterfell.

LOL! What if Arya is actually playing Littlefinger? Probably unlikely though.

I was a little unimpressed that Bronn and Jaime were able to escape capture from The Dragon Queen and her Dothraki horde by... ...swimming to the other side of a pond.

LOL! Tell me about it. Bronn pushes Jaimito into the edge of the water. Pretty much the safe side where you let the kids play and make sand castles. All of the sudden Jamito is plunging to the depths. Only to appear at the other side safe and sound. Nobody saw them. Note everyone knows Jaimito survives because Tyrion offered to talk to him. Last thing Dany saw was Jaimito facing Drogon's fire. First thing Dany should have asked Tyrion when offering to talk to Jaimito in order to start diplomatic relations with Saucy is, how the f**k does he know Jaimito is alive in the first place? For all she knows, Jaimito is overdone BBQ. Why is he not a prisoner if he is alive? There are IMO some loopholes there.

Jaimito would have been a huge bargain chip in most situations, except with Crazy Saucy, but it is apparent Dany doesn't know that. So it would have been priority one to search for that dude. Well, at least they cooked Tarly. So I won't be that critical.

Also note how freakishly smart Drogon is. Cooks the right dudes on command (instead of everyone) and when soldiers think twice about bending the knee, Drogon tells them in a politically correct manner "Bend the f'ing Knee Assholes" in dragon-speak. There is also some bromance going on between Drogon and Jon. Drogon smells him and seems to recognize that awesome Targaryen aroma.
