Indeed, the Eikon got lost somewhere between France and Sweden. It sucks. I've sent and recieved probably +50 hifi packages across Europe and this is the first time this has happend.

Also - as I understand it we don't have any tracking info, which severely sucks. The Eikon might still surface but every day that passes there is less and less hope. All I can say is that I did not steal it, and without any tracking info that's about all I can do. Which makes me somewhat uneasy.

Folks... for the love of God please hang on to the sender's receipt and tracking info like if your life depended on it. It's the only way to collect insurance and clear yourself and the guy on the receiving end of blame.

In the event that it was stolen by someone in the postal chain I would call on SBAF members to keep a lookout in various hifi market places, the Eikon is fairly unique and should have a S/N and unique wood pattern for this model.

Yup. My fault. The receipt had been likely washed in the pocket of my shirt. No receipt, no tracking, no insurance. I'll take my part for this but I'm sorry for all EU friends who were waiting this headphone.

As @TwoEars mentionned, i don't lose hope the parcel could pop somewhere sooner or later but until then , the loaner is considered as lost.

    Shit happens obviously.

May i just ask one thing @sorrodje, since i don't know the French system, do you guys, when paying, give your financial personal number like we do in Portugal? That way they can get to your receipt (name, date and precise hour of shipping) and consequently your tracking number.

Who currently has the Eikon on the US side? It's been pretty quiet here and in the impressions thread for the Eikon.

Sorry about that! I had to go out of country for work this past week and didn't even get some time to listen to them. I should be home on the 13th and should have them out on the 14th or 15th at the latest.

The Eikon is back in town. I received it today and it's perfectly safe. I imagine we can now continue the european tour but I let Mrbutchi officially decide and announce it.

Due to a schedule conflict, I will have to drop out of this loaner. I have requested that @Ryu skip me and move on to @cskippy as the next in line. Please cross me off the list.

Sent them off to Skippy on Friday. Should have them Monday. These things are nuts. Bifrost Multibit and Bottlehead Crackball is an amazing combo with this thing. So lush and warm sounding. Bass touches me in all the right places but not to muddy and overwhelming. Timbre and resolution on par with HD800. I would use the shit out of these things but they are super big/bulky and semi open back so I can't use them for my daily driver as a gamer. If I had just a dedicated headphone setup for that, I would.
