I agree that it could be better but they do send a notification that an item has shipped with a tracking number. I get s notification from my bank that my CC has been charged before Schiit sends the notification tho. At least they only invoice when they ship.

I've had Schiit just forget to sound out an order before. I've also been unimpressed with their communication and responsiveness on that and other occasions. I like the products and marketing fine, the customer service not so much.

I think Schiit is simply becoming a larger company, and the personal touch is being lost on the logistical side.

I like the tuning. They fit pretty comfortably well too. Pretty good staging for an IEM. Basically, it's an IE600 in a plastic shell instead of metal.

I don't thiing they do anyting "wrong" to my ears, but I consider myself a noob at evaluations still. The bass is really nice. I don't hear bleed into the mids. Treble is on par with HD660S2 I'd say..

I have a IE300 too, found them to be wholly inoffensive as far as peaks and treble nasties, very good mids and captivating bass. They do seem to like a bit of power to shine though.

Ooh - this would be a good change for the ZDT with many headphones. I want to replace the pot on my BA, but haven't made up my mind yet. I really wish the Penny & Giles pots were still available.

That's what I experienced with the Focal Elex on the ZDT Jr. A pretty noticeable, and pleasant, bass bump. A similarly sensitive, low impedance (?) HP to the Grado?

Do they sound markedly different after the repair?

When the e-series came out, the HF'ers rehashed the old argument about the drivers. I had agreed to write a mini-review of the 225e, so I called Grado Labs to ask. I asked the secretary if someone would discuss it with me. Next thing I heard was John Grado yelling, "Are you the guy who's lying about my headphones on the forums?!" I assured him that I was not. And he kindly answered all my questions for half an hour.
