Same here, though not necessarily from just one year. At least 10 I can't find. There here somewhere.

My favorites are the cases with the CDs no longer in them. Trout Mask Replica, wherever you may be now, I hope you’re blowing somebody’s mind.

I think overall I'm liking the dac1321 better than Gumby, but it lacks some of the magic I get when playing 80s era CDs, MFSL CDs and HDCDs

I might end up keeping both in my main system.

The GAIN I MFSL CDs in particular will likely always sound best on Schiit multibit DACs, given that Mike designed the GAIN I system.

Needed to A-B to vinyl to reassure myself the linear filter on the Soekris is the most accurate one.

Voices can sound down in the mix compared to the other filters but it's almost exactly the same as the vinyl presentation so it has to be right.

The volume control on the Soekris makes level matching with other sources a snap.

Got the Soekris dac1321 in about an hour ago, transients are so insanely fast on this thing. I'm already impressed.

@BenjaminBore I have Gumby and Mimby to compare it to. It will probably be a couple weeks before I post any real impressions.

That’s great, I’ve the same two Schiit DACs. Having become, shock horror, content with my system I find my self looking for alternatives that can achieve the same thing with a smaller footprint that are simpler and cheaper. These new Soekris’ look promising.

Might do Eminence Legend CA154 woofer, it goes a little lower and it's cheaper. I like the impedence curve on the 15C better though, might be able to do a simpler crossover.

Haven’t had time to leave impressions but I will this weekend. I was disappointed with them. Was using them with the ZDS on low gain so it probably wasn’t a good match

Had a bunch of noise in the right channel appear, cleaned the contacts/relays and it all seems to be good now. Will probably have to replace the relays at some point. I know from experience that cleaning only lasts 6 months.

I might bring them to a meet sometime. Hinges on being able to borrow my wife's SUV for the day. They won't fit in my little Honda Fit and my wife can't drive a stick.

This really puts into perspective how big the Cornscalas must be. I've got a Fit too and am always impressed at how much useable interior space Honda was able to pack in (with the origami backseats and whatnot). Sounds like a freaking sweet setup though!

I'm enjoying it as well. It's throw-back style, most similar to TNG and early DS9 is simply refreshing. Not so overly dramatic with never-ending in-your-face action...it's just fun to watch.
