    I used to have the Meier Aria years ago... which I think is the model before the Opera? (or maybe after... the names do seem to follow each other). I remember it being a very nice unit overall, and was one of my first introductions to crossfeed.

    Almost nobody bought Z1R locally in America. Most people are willing to eat warranties in order to get it cheaper. It's around 1200-1500 GBP in UK, USD 1400-1600 in Japan brand new, so most people bought it there.

    There's a used pair of B&W Matrix 803 S2s on eBay right now for $1000. If there's anyone in the Bay area in the market for a good speaker, I'd recommend snagging them. I've got quite a bit of experience with these, and like their voicing much more than the current diamonds.
