FS: HE-560 and balanced Forza cable

Ok, this time I'm more serious, unlike the reluctant not really sale ad before. I realise that I need to sell the NBM because it's not getting enough use, and is just gathering dust- given how hard they are to find, that's not cool. It's a great amp, and mine sounds really decent, but my HP8 gets more use.

Soo.. I'm going to have a go at selling it here. If it doesn't sell, I will list it on HF for a higher price. Because of this, I will say that I'd prefer Friends only for now, or very reputable contributors at my discretion.

Ok, here's the list of stuff:

Laconic Labs Night Blues Mini £280 - SOLD

This is in great shape, sounds good, no cosmetic issues (beyond a bit of dust). Original tubes, run in, but not hundreds of hours on them. It's a nice amp, but I don't have to tell you that. Remember that it's a 220v unit, though. I'd prefer to keep this one within SBAF than it go to HF, ideally.


Chord Mojo with official leather case - £275 - SOLD

This works well, and has been kept in the official case, so shouldn't have any scratches or dings. I didn't notice any charging whine, unlike some Mojos.



Hifiman HE-560 (new connector style) with Forza Audioworks 3.5mm SE "Copper Series" cable and official HFM hard case- £350

Good condition, works well. I still have the original box and stock lead that you can have, too, if you like. However, the hard case and Forza lead are a step up. Note that the original box arrived sealed but was grubby/dinged inside, so it's not pristine, and the stock cable is really annoying and stiff- so you'd likely use the Forza one anyway. The actual headphones are in great condition!


Forza Audioworks "Claire mk.2" copper balanced cable for Hifiman headphones (new style connector) - £50

This is an absolutely brilliant cable, built like a tank, nice and flexible and looks badass. Forza build pretty cables. I'd prefer not to sell this one on its own, unless I've already sold the HE-560- so I can keep listening to them balanced meantime.. silly I know!

That's a very personal question.

(They're whatever the default length from Forza is, I don't like massively long cables for desktop use.)

 

Dropped the Mojo price a bit, as I listed it at £300 on HF. NBM also listed on HF. Both cheaper here

No, the 560s are pretty much mint. The box is a little scuffed and battered, but it came like that from the HFM shipping carton. They're kept in the official HFM hard case, anyway.

No, that's a stupid idea. Just get a proper cable to match the connectors on your headphones, or you'll always have a clumsy wad of connectors in danger of providing an intermittent connection. Not good for your setup at all.

@shipsupt - could you close this thread, please? I may make a cleaner one with just the headphones at some point, the other stuff is sold.
