    6N8S/6H8C/6SN7/1578 Melz Metal Base w/ Perforated Anodes (Hole Plates) [RARE]

    This is a gorgeous NOS tube. It's supposed to be the best of the Russian military 6SN7 type tubes.

    I got overzealous when I got the Super 7 and ordered this instantly. Since I need to make up lost money from a recent scam, I really shouldn't keep this tube at the moment.

    $75. $70 for friends. $69 for @zerodeefex (compare at $100+ from overseas)

    Really? Someone in New York who had a lot of positive feedback. If it's counterfeit it sure sounds good. There were no measurements provided, which I actually take as more honest than a lot of sellers who could just be putting BS numbers up.

    Do you have the seller? Would be super helpful. For these kinds of tubes especially. I bought one from Gs Tube a while back and it's excellent. I also picked one up off eBay that ended up being way worse than advertised.

    I ask because I'm always looking to add to the collection.

    The seller was simya.

    I buy a lot of tubes from gstube as well but I'm reluctant to get anything expensive because the condition is hit or miss.

    I usually get 10 Russian tubes at a time and half of them are great.

    @zerodeefex I've been looking into this tube more since receiving it.

    It has all of the internal construction characteristics of a genuine 1578 tube.

    If you want more pics than the one in the OP to be sure, let me know.
