Solid little unit back before Jan Meier changed to his cheaper casework. Crossfeed back in the days before crossfeed was even a thing on headphone amps, as Jan is kinda like one of the grandfathers of implementing it.

 

Here is something interesting. It's a DIY parafeed amplifier for $1000 based around the D3A tube and somewhat similar to the Bottlehead Mainline and Papa Rusa amplifiers.

I actually don't really know what to make of this, but it's so unique I thought I'd post about it. Can someone who is more technically savvy comment about it's design and parts? FWIW, this builder seems to have made a few other amps in the past here, here, and here.

I think it's actually a CS4398 chip which I do happen to like, but man there's just so little info on this.

 

This one looks really quite cool. If it were something within Europe I'd be very tempted although $1000 used might still be a bit steep..?

 

Value is in the eye of the beholder I guess, but this is a really nice looking dac. If this were under a K I'd probably be all over it. Note single ended only, the pcb is physically different for balanced version.

Dangerously close to the 65% MSRP rule-of-thumb for used audio (and my personal buy point of 60%). Maybe a boon from the recent fervor around the Mjolnir 3, but the Oor is a good deal smaller and pretty competent in its own right.
