What an infuriating thread.

I hopped in for a brief moment. Infuriated a few people with my post apparently. Then I made some hot tea, my job is complete.

That guy "Mediahound" ("phototristan" in YouTube) said: "There are reviewers (or a reviewer) who seem to be consistently wrong on things." (obviously, referring to Tyll)...what a massive asshole. (page 193, Post #2883)

Looks like Jude is using G.R.A.S. to try to take Tyll down. This makes Jude seem worse than ever, to me. Jude's fanclub seems to be lapping it up.

Yup. The replies to my post are almost cult-like

I can't tell if this guy is serious or sarcastic: "There’s no darn money at stake lol... that’s funny... I know several people who don’t know about this site and they still got HD800S... this is just a discussion between hobbyists."

I took a glance at the thread, and the response to any hint of dissent was cult-like. Kind of mind boggling.

@Dino yeah, crazy. Maybe he’s pulling my leg but it didn’t seem like it.

All I was going by was: if joking, pretty funny - if serious, pretty stupid. I have no real reason to rule out stupid.

That discussion was entirely unenjoyable to read. The tale of a very small man, and his ignorant followers. Where have I seen this before?
