I've seen bobcats around. My friend is a professor at Cal State San Marcos and he had a warning about a mountain lion spotted on campus.

With half a dozen of them coming out of nowhere I was actually a little uncomfortable for my own sake. I cut the walk short and went home.

Hope you at least had a pocket knife.

Could have been. I heard bobcat, but I have no idea.

I took my dog out to pee late at night and was surprised to find 5-7 coyotes near my drive way. Thankfully they seemed startled and didn't realize what was going on before i picked up my dog and quickly went inside.

Opened my front door and this big husky coyote was standing perpendicular to the walkway, about 10' from the front door looking at me with the rest of the pack further back. They stood there for a few seconds
