Pro-ject Perspex on the way! Hopefully it will be a nice upgrade from my Debut

Curious why you decided on this over say, a used VPI?

A mix of the right price with an MC cartridge, and I like the aesthetics. It was well reviewed, and I like pro-ject in general. I was looking at the VPI Prime Scout, but with the cart and Step up Transformer, it was pushing around 3000

I've got new turntable fever... But I need to wait and see what the Sol will offer. The wait!

@brencho, I concur, even though I don't have many 45s. Coming from a Debut Carbon, I really just want a quiet, non resonant TT. I can also probably stretch to a new Prime Scout, but I hate the idea of an epoxy arm on an expensive turntable.

Yeah definitely, you could scout for a used table with the stainless steel arm as well

anyone have a link to an overview of all the arms VPI has offered over time? I saw a scout a few days ago for sale but wasnt sure of exactly what I should look for apart from no 3D printing/epoxy

Some people seem fine for a long time, then decide to preach in someone else's house. It's kinda funny when there's zero self awareness.

The Loki set at 2:30 @8 khz works wonders on the LCD-4; it takes it from being too dark to just right.

I think Audeze has special EQ profiles for Roon. Have you tried those?

No. I currently use jriver. I tend to prefer analog EQ, instead of digital EQ. I've tried digital solutions, but none sounded that great to me. Yet.

Picked up a show-pony LCD-4 from The Source. Very similar to the LCD-3f but without the lower treble emphasis and incredibly detailed bass

Couldn't decide on an Aeon Open or Klipsch HP-3, so I bought an Oppo UDP-203 instead...FML. Gonna keep my headphone rig as is for now.

How's your UDP-203 working for you? I'm thinking of picking up a CD transport (~ NAD 516BEE), but may swing for an Oppo for the added video experience.

So impressed with the Jot: it compares favorably to my Kenzie Encore at 1/6th the price

I'm digging the midrange on it most of all. Great grip on the bass and I'm not noticing anything objectionable in the l lower treble with my lcd-3 or 650s

What about staging compared to the K.E.?

I wouldn't say staging is its strong suit, but it's fine. Head stage is my least important criteria for any headphone related gear. I listen to 'phones for detail and tonality.
