I've never used anything but the Focus-a pad on my pair

I have three HiFiMan pads currently that I have been trying, so I have been switching between the original leather and velour pads along with the newer Focus pads.

I preferred the focus over stock pleather, velour and alpha pads on mine sonically

At present, I'm really switching between the velour and Focus pads at this time. I really did not like the stock leather pads from a sound quality perspective.

I found that the velour pads are quite good. The mids are just a little more pronounced, so a more intimate sound. The Focus pads get a little more bass and seem to even out the treble, so perhaps a more neutral sound. Both are good, but I'm starting to prefer the Focus pads.
