    @FallingObjects The 1997 anime is fantastic IMHO, but I agree the new ones are crap. You can find it here: https://nyaa.si/view/979177

    I would recommend starting with ep2 and watching ep1 last, it's a bit weird but that's the correct order. Also use the Japanese audio obviously, the dubbed translation sucks.

    Oh for sure, the Golden/Silver age arcs and shows were great. The new ones are good from an adaptation standpoint - just horribly distracting audio/visuals.

    They should have stuck to the original 2D drawn animation that made series like Dragon Ball Z legendary. Even the old Hunter X series still has its charms. Additionally they have to stay true to the manga. But if to avoid butchering the story again, yeah stick to the manga. That manga series is art and drama of the highest order. (Yes I am a fan...)
