I have a Saga if you want to try it out first

You have Jotunheim. Just get a used saga :). Borrow Collin's first since he so generously offered. It's awesome.

I am planning on Saga and Vidar, but now is a good time to get Saga

I'm curious to see if the anyone else hears to difference rolling out the 6SN7 like I did.

Collin: I didn't even bother with the stock tube. Popped in a cheapo RCA 6SN7GTB and was happy out the gate. I have some 7n7s that are more laid back too.

Also speaking of used Sagas: Blast Ye Ravi! Nabbed Prashant's Saga from under my nose. I stuck a fancy VT231 smoke glass in after trying the stock tube. Not even a contest.

There are cheap enough lots of 8 or more 6SN7s going on ebay. Guess I should grab some and go to town.

Plz stop, ya'll are driving up the prices

A lot of 8 will probably keep me for the next fifteen years. I don't want to become a hardcore 6SN7 roller.
