    Get rid of USB entirely and go for a good SPDIF source. If you must do USB, go something like a Singxer SU-1 at a bare minimum.

    To Hands: Yeah, indeed considered SU1. BTW, what can be candidates for a good spidif source? I remember your d100 review (tempting but pricey..). How about more affordable d200?

    I can't speak for the other Soundaware stuff. I imagine any of their digital transports are at least decent. Just make note of quirks regarding gapless playback before jumping in.
