This rental is transitional housing. I lost my workbench and no woodcutting tools so making something out of wood is out. I really just need some kind of small block/brick style - one on each end as there are two separate feet to the stand, not one big platform. Just not wanting to devote brain power to this so looking for suggestions.

The TV and the center channel are both sitting on top of my entertainment center which is dark wood.

Maybe not that brand, but it raises the TV up like being wall mounted

Alternative solution: Sell your surround sound setup and upgrade your front left/right. I recommend Maggies, especially given you're in a rental. No boomy bass annoying neighbors and awesome space/resolution at low/medium volumes. Keep TV on stand. Get ISF calibration for TV. . . . Profit.

I'd love to invest in 2 channel but I'm moving overseas with a family of 4 in less than a year so new audio equipment aside from easily packable headphone stuff is not in the cards. That's why I also don't want to spend much money on this temporary solution.

In that case, I recommend cinderblocks. :)

@zonto Perfect! That will match the 80's Trans Am in the front yard!
