    I see you're using an E7470. What do you think of it? I support an army of E7270 and E7470 and all they are headache after headache of hardware failures.

    So far I haven't had any trouble other than the battery power monitoring in the bios causing significant delayed procedure calls until I shut it down. Wish Dell would fix that.

    Out of about 40 laptops of these models at my facility, I've had six display/ touchscreen failures, two main board failures, and two SSD failures.

    I have Win 10 on most right now, but on Win 7 the display driver doesn't consistently work while docked with multiple monitors.

    Thank-you. The SSD and mainboard failures are the worrisome ones for me. I run Win7, do not dock, 2nd monitor uses HDMI port and my display is non-touch screen. I can't stand the glare and don't find touch all that useful for my typical measurement system use case.
