    I do know Alex has been playing with DAC ideas for a couple of years at least. And certain HF people have listened to at least one prototype.

    Another R2R DAC that has the Cavalli house tuning would be a great addition to the market. I'm in the market to replace my Modi 1 and I'm holding out for either an upgraded Bifrost Multibit, or whatever Cavalli cooks up.

    I was thinking that it didn't necessarily have to be a Cavalli DAC since these are massdrop branded things. Maybe it will.

    Cavalli's comments made it sound like Massdrop did the case work on the CTH. The Massdrop CTH page also confirmed upcoming DACs and combo units. Plans to work with with multiple designers is one good reason for Massdrop to handle the case work themselves.

    Yeah, the MD case design was why I was wondering if they may do the case and go with someone else for the DAC. Alex did say "it is stackable"
