Casually browsing the "offocial" home page of someone that I know (academic, so publications and awards take up a lot of it) I discovered that he had won an ignobel prize.

His topic was the physics of hula hoops.

He should get together together with the cat fluidity guy! I'm sure they'd break new ground. Feet landing first, of course
