Intriguing! I am much happier with Tidal than I was with Spotify. How is the lossless selection on Apple Music?

No lossless, but better masters in my opinion, which is more important to me.

Critical for sure. For many titles, Tidal has multiple masters/versions. Kind of fun to peek at the differences in Audacity.

Van Halen's 5150. Some of the Wham! stuff. Alice Copper. Those come to mind first.

For Google music I know I've filed bugs and they've added additional masters.

I've always heard in the past that Spotify has the biggest variations in master quality (meaning more likely to find poor masters) but they may have improved that by now. I've been pretty happy with what I hear overall from Apple Music.

My main reason for having Apple Music is that it's the only thing that integrates with my car. I have a smartphone era car with an "infotainment" system from the golden era of the iPod.

I have Tidal too but mostly only listen to it on desktop due to poor interface and poor discovery options. I have Apple Music over google play or Spotify due to good Siri integration.

I’m perfectly happy with Apple Music, although the impact of streaming on artist revenue still concerns me. I use it for discovery, then buy the CD or digital lossless of the stuff like.

Apple Music uses MFiT masters when they’re available, and sometimes those masters are unique to iTunes/Apple.
