Recently revisited my pictures of the Dali exhibition in Amsterdam. It made me appreciate even more how artists need their freedom to express themselves, even if the audience does not get it.
I remember vividly the first time ever being at a museum (in Houston) and viewing originals from some of the greats. I was in high school and it was blowing my mind that I was looking at this Picasso just an arm’s length in front of me. I really need to get to some more of the great art museums.
@DigMe - Did you go to The Menil Collection? It’s one of my absolute favorite museums ever. I’ve been to a lot of the great museums in Paris, London, etc.; but there is something special about the Menil.
My original comment though is more in response to certain people that think you should spend 1000% of your income on survival and none on what makes life worth living in the first place.
