@zerodeefex Sanderson has to be one of my favourite modern authors; the whole Cosmere is just insanely massive and well-crafted. And I've actually had this under my tree for WEEKS but she made me promise not to read it. I'm making up for lost time, lol.
@zerodeefex Granted they're really convenient, but I'm a bit of a romantic as far as old stuff goes. Besides, nothing beats the smell of old books. Or new ones. Or ones that are kinda old but not old old. You get the picture XD
Lol. Agreed on the smell, used books are best, as odd as that sounds. Also the tactile sensation and satisfaction of physically turning the page. All said, big ass books suck for heft.
I was a purist until I had a job where I was traveling at least 2-3 weeks every month. I got on the ereader bandwagon quickly after that. I love both the new oasis and the aura one. Great devices these days.
Yeah, my e-book collection's been growing too. Still, for ones like these I prefer having a physical copy I can spend my off days loafing around the house reading. Much more relaxing, and it's nice to not have my eyes glued to a screen (for a change XD).
