Next time you update, download the files as an ISO. After that run the update. I went auto-update and the clusterfuck commenced. Microsoft can no longer be trusted to get this right. They love telling us about new features but when things go wrong you are on your own. f**k Microsoft...
I was pretty excited for Windows 10 after the problems I had with 8, but ended up pretty disappointed. The automatic updates are ridiculous. I've already migrated to Linux at this point with the exception of my wife's laptop because she just can't let go of iTunes.
The Surface Pro is a mark I. It is stuck in installation limbo. I have to reinstall W10 Pro via USB and the BIOS. Before the update smooth and easy to work with, now a paperweight with a screen.
Is there, currently, still a functional way to completely & permanently or (at least) partially/temporarily: Disable Win10 from Automatically Downloading & Installing any types of Updates? How about post-FCU v1709?
But, instead, still have a fully-working Option to Update everything Manually?
Maybe @zerodeefex or @Marvey knows? (since you fellas are the Top-Dogs when it comes to Security/PC related stuff. Pls Help!
