@iFi audio I've never heard one of their products, but the korean versions look stunning, oh, and "full transconductance system" sounds sexy even without playing music :)
"My system transconducts twice as much current as yours (and all class A, zero feedback)" must be the ultimate Hifi E-peening sentence :D

They're not for everyone, but I do love NAD's new Master Series industrial design. Here's the NAD M22:

Aye, this looks good indeed, pricier than it actually is, which is good for NAD.

I dunno, hard to judge from a photograph but it looks kinda blingy and reminds me of this (pic courtesy Ken Rockwell):

    @9suns

Those are gorgeous but if I had a 150k pair of amps I wouldn't place them directly on a brown 70's rug :D

Those babies need an oak or mahogany table or something like that.

Nop, milled from a single block of aluminum and "satin champagne" color anodizing...the pins of the tube sockets are gold plated btw haha :D

Oh yeah, fully agree! But there's something special about those 70's brothel style rugs haha

This is my kind of amp, not just a pretty face. If I ever win the lottery I'll get a Thomas Mayer amp

If I were in the market for an integrated amp, no doubt I'll buy this baby:

That's an Ayre AX-5 Twenty, and IMHO this is how "High End" gear should be made.
Zero global and negative feedback, fully balanced, top quality parts everywhere, including ceramic circuit boards, custom made resistors (!!), etc, even the binding posts are top of the line Cardas.

The volume control is where things get interesting, as it is a variable gain volume control, using special Shallco silver contact rotary switches (no cheap volume pots there ;)).
Charles Hansen was anal about sound quality and left nothing to chance, what a sad loss :(

It looks refreshingly plain and simple on the outside. My kind of amp porn.

Very beautiful amplifiers. Most of the samples are already art. Delighted and surprised. I unfortunately have nothing to show except this

    Of course it's a joke

Now in many ways this amplifier exemplifies all that I believe to be wrong in the 'audiophile circuit' today. From its antiquated tube technology to the bro-science bullshit about their case work shaping the sound.

I have to say though, it may be the best looking tube amplifier I've ever seen:
