Audio Zenith PMx2 Loaner

Has anyone compared the second gen PMx2 to the first gen? I heard what I think was a second gen, so I think I know the differences, but I'd be curious to read about other experiences.

 

I am also interested in checking these out - are they still available for the loaner program? If so, May I be on the list? (Ohio)

i have the second gen PMx2 and heard the original PMx2 for about a week as a loaner. The new version is even better than the original - it is less warm is the main difference. The original had a slight warmness to it (especially in some parts of the bass), the new version, to my ears, doesn't, which I like. There are other differences but thats the main one to me. I like the new version even more than the original, and the original was fantastic. The new PMx2 is the best can i've heard; I have not heard the Utopia though as they are too expensive to afford. I love the new PMx2, it's my end-game can. I also find the new version to be more comfortable too - there are different earpads on it compared to the first, they are leather.

If this loaner is not limited to CONUS, then I'm in.

 

I'm in 100% if this is heading to the UK at some point.
