    Hello,

    I have a set of T90's and T1G2's and HD600's and a few others, LCD2 R2's, etc..
Using a BH Crack with Speedball I let my wife listen to three cans just now.
    Started with T1's, then HD600's then T90.

LIstening to some MIchael Jackson and Jamie Cullum.

Here response, totally just a listener...

    1. HD 600 - Flat
    2. T90 - Bright, Clear
3, T1's - I like this one the best, its very nice.

    So there ya go!

Graphs and curves be damned for her!!

    Alex

Coming from a Amiron to a T1G2, IMO the word that describes this move is: Warmer....believe it or not for me.

    Hey,

I just got these new, from local shop, just to give them a shot. Unfortunately they sound exactly as purr1n described them.

I'm running them on PC - S/PDIF - Schiit Bifrost Multibilt - Woo Audio WA2 w/ sort of endgame tubes so that should be pretty solid setup for these.

Mids are recessed, which indeed sucks. I like to listen at "higher" volume, I guess, and when I push mids to the loudness I want, the base is getting pretty crazy and unpleasant.

Base sounds good in some songs and just straight up terrible, sort of distorted, in others. For example Dernière Danse - Indila is nightmare in terms of base. Would never imagine that song being an issue. And it's not just base issue, the song overall doesn't have the emotional touch on these headphones, it's just weird.

Treble is surely tamed down compared to gen 1, but it's still not pleasure to listen to. Another example Beam Me Up - CAZZETTE, treble sounds so distorted in some parts of the song that I'm not sure, if I'm really listening to high-end headphone or some cheap knock-off replica.

    This is really disappointment.

Saying that T1 Gen 2 is kinda gimmick is not too far from the reality.

    Back to HD650 it seems.
