Picked this up at Wade's. This is a wheated bourbon in the style of Pappy. I don't think it's even possible to find any sort of Pappy at a reasonable price anymore. A 10 year old is probably going for well over $500. It's become ridiculous. So the Breaker here isn't exactly cheap at $129 - but in the overall scheme of things, actually a very good deal because it is an excellent Bourbon. Instead of corn and rye, it's corn and wheat, which imparts a smoothness which belies its high alcohol content from being cask strength. Note: skip the regular stuff if you can and get hand picked cask from individual stores (provided you trust their tastes). And yes, different casks do taste slightly different.

Here's a good pairing - with the Beijing Beef from Panda. This whiskey is strong, sweet, and so smooth!

It also goes well with McNuggets - the sweet and sour sauce (BTW, the Szechuan sauce it totally disgusting).

This bottle is going MUCH FASTER than anything else. Part of it is because it goes down so easily. You don't think about this. If the RE:FIND rye is the thinking man's bourbon, than this is the opposite. Just sip and chill.
