After the fun I had at the Coronado meet, I'm 51% sure I'll be there tomorrow and I'd love to demo the esp950 if you're bringing that. Otherwise, I'm making the plunge on the andromeda at the CA booth and I remember the kitsune holo spring lv3 will be on display as well.

 

Yes, I will have the ESP-950's with Vesper pads for demo. I can either hook them up to the Koss E-90 amp or a modded pro-bias Stax SRD-7 driven by a Carver m4.0t amp. You can compare the two amps if you want.

I'll definitely come on Sunday, and spend all day there. I just have to get out of bed and walk like 30 minutes to get to the venue <- how hard could it be?

I can't come tomorrow, though, since I have class from 11:30 to 4PM <- great...

Would love to see some friends there. It's been a very long dry spell since us Friends got together. <- please come if you can!

Plus it's a good opportunity to try things out, and greet manufacturers, talk about things, and hopefully "inception" some ideas into their heads. <- it's mostly for the "inception".

Actually, on that note, when is the next SBAF meet? I hope soon. I miss you guys.

 

I decided to go to the AV Source mini-show instead of this... Kind of wish I hadn't burned the day-away-from-the-family on the AV Source thing. Weird and disappointing promise of sales, free-ear impressions, yada yada but it was dead. Highlight was listening to JH Audio demos... yep, that was the highlight. There were definitely tables of lots of gear but I went because it was supposed to be portable focused. Definitely lame. Anyways, kind of wished I'd waited and gone to CanJam.

 

Ah, that's too bad. If you go to CanJam, then you'll get to try my Noble X and EMU PurpleHeart. I'll make sure to bring those two along this weekend for anyone who'd like to try them.

 

I'll be there! In The Source AV booth on the Questyle side of the table. Jason should have a bunch of cool stuff to bring out for the show.

 

I'm 10% sure I'm going. I was not gonna come at all (I fear for my life, with Fang around) but I'd like to try the PMx2 before taking the plunge...

Traffic will be a bitch, with the Kings-Blackhawks game in the afternoon...

 

If you can, take the train or go to the nearest metro station and train in. LA Live is right off the metro red line.

 

Don't go if just for PMx2. I am setting up a loaner tour ;-).
