While I'm at it: any Europeans who know good addresses for cables? I'm looking for quality, but at a fair price. E.g. for my HD650, I can't for the world find good reasons without barfing why a good cable would cost as much as this splendid piece of engineering itself...
Also looking for an adapter 4-pin XLR to stereo jack, so I don't constantly have to switch cables when switching between my SE and balanced amps.
Forza audioworks ?
Maybe you can try it with Venture Electronics (if you´re willing to wait a bit....delivery took almost two weeks after order was placed).
Besides a balanced cable for my HD6xx I also ordered a 4-pin XLR to 3.5mm TRRS to connect the HD6xx to my GO2ASE.
Can´t complain for the price (adapter is $10, cable was $20, plus $5 shipping). Cable is a bit stiff but I´m fine with.
I've got a pair of Cardas balanced XLR interconnects that have been sitting around unused for 10 years or so (my current rig is single-ended, and I don't plan to change that).
I bought them used 15 to 20 years ago, so they're at least 20 years old, but they were very high-end back then. One plug has always had a broken tab on the connector so it doesn't lock.
Free to anyone in Europe. I'll even pick up postage.
(Note: pre-cleared with Sorrodje regarding the Friends/For-Sale rule.)
Interconnects on their way to Stijn. (Or, they will be once my wife gets to the post office, anyway.)
Most kind of you Sir Thanks a great lot!
