I'm definitely keen for another tour. X00 would be my preference but I'm happy to go with whatever.

I might have a hd800 coming next week. I've only got a month with it. If I can get it early enough I'll send it on a short 3 day max tour for Aussie friends for 20 days. Any interest?

Anyone interested in putting an IEM tour together? I'm willing to pitch in EPH-100, and RE-00.

    Hi everyone.

Anything planned for late 2017? Mini meets? Loaners? Any success with the gear tour that took place earlier this year? I'm only an Acquaintance in my current incarnation (avataration?) but guess I could apply for Contributor status. If you deem it appropriate, @Garns, please add me to the list of members in the first post.

For those of you in NSW & VIC, hope you're having a great long weekend.

Hi all - I'm in Invercargill, New Zealand.

I have "a lot" of different IEMs, earbuds, DAPs and other gear - and would be more than happy to participate in a loaner programme so that others can get to hear some of this gear. The good thing about this is most of the stuff is review samples - so there is no cost except postage. The caveat is that I don't own it - so it has to come back. If you are interested I'll try and make a list of what is on offer.

Couple of caveats - if I'm sending, this is going to get a tad expensive for me - so I'd want to be covered on costs. Enough people on a tour, and it should be inconsequential.

More than happy to cough up for anything on other tours.

Anyway - let me know if there is still interest. I know I'm relatively new here, but I'm pretty sure Marv will vouch for me.

I went yesterday. To be honest nothing blew me away, lots of poorly setup rooms. They had a 009 / T8000 setup there and when I asked to use it they handed me a 3.5 jack to plug my phone into. Upon further inspection this jack went to an RCA splitter directly into the amp. I asked the Stax guy why they had no source gear and he threw me a look then handed me an ancient AK120 with about 10 songs on it. I didn't even bother.

This was a paid event, right? It's not like you were checking out the headphone stand at a JB Hi-Fi.

How were the other vendors? I see Fitear and Klipsch. HP-3?

Yeh, I had a good time. Rooms were terrible but they always are in hotels.
The JBL 4367 and HE1 were a highlight. I always take my own source, hdd and cds to these things.

The Avantgarde room even let us spin rage against the machine. Ha!

    Yeah paid event.
Stay didn't really have their own space, all of the headphones / items were in the Jaben Audio room under their banner. Fitear I've never been a huge fan of, I just dont like that mid-centric Japanese tuning in general. Tried the UE 18+ Pros and they were probably the highlight for me, just really well balanced with no obvious flaws. Good separation and clarity without losing musicality. Easy listening for sure. I actually enjoyed them more than the Andromedas when I heard them, although I haven't tried them from the Sony DAPS.

Every room was playing some variation of white man jazz/blues and way too loud.

I went the Xecuter and i'll second that the JBL 4367 and HE-1 were the highlight. I was also impressed with a couple of the Australian offerings such a VAF and Hulgich Audio.

The Paradigm room was a let down i really wanted to hear the Persona series but the rep in the room was not helpful at all. The Qualifi room with the Klipsch speakers was also extremely average... or was it the speakers...

Yep, Hulgich was very good! The VAF invisible speaker thing was very cool and Philip was very helpful with room advice.

Kipsch need to brace their cabinets or something, the room was terrible but the resonance and reverb from the cabinet itself was concerning in complex passages.
