up for sale is my ZMF Eikon with standard ZMF cable (mini jack + standard jack adapter) and a very nice Forza audioworks balanced cable.
    Wood choice = cherry / Varnish choice = sprayed/industrial.

I have tried hard to fall in love with the Eikon but my 56 years old ears just need a little more treble bite. I have become accustomed to my ATH-W3000anv over the years. With the Eikon coming in I got into the dilemma that I wanted something in between. A few days ago I read Maxx134´s suggestion here on SBAF to try angled and bigger pads on the w3000 and this did it for me. Better than any amplifier or tube exchange... The w3000 moved 2 notches to the Eikon´s signature. Of course the Eikon still has the better bass and sub-bass and the w3000 has more cup resonance, but for the music I listen to it just rarely matters and I´m getting that little bit more sparkle (the new pads tamed the spikes somewhat), where the Eikon is just too smooth for my ears.
So here I offer an absolutely mint Eikon which has seen maximum 20 hours of use. It was shipped to me on the 6th of april this year.
I had already ordered a very nice cable from Forza Audioworks to go with it; balanced, with nice splitter, about 2 mtrs. length:

You get exactly that what you can see on the photos.

Eikon + extra balanced cable together: 1.250 €
Eikon with ZMF standard cable (2,75 Mtrs. long): 1.130 €
Cable only (fits Audeze): 160 €

I am really tempted with this item, however I would like to see more pics of the products.I find it really hard to buy used items when not enough pictures are provided.

The Eikons are not for sale anymore. I just decided two days ago to keep them. I kept on listening to them for a little bit every day and it has taken me this long to get used to the sowewhat darker signature + I have the feeling they got more lively after some more playing time. I have been so busy the last few days I did not immediately update my sale post here. Sorry about that.
I kept on noticing many little things the Eikons do better than my ATH-W3000anv: especially rumble and micro detail.
Moreover I have modded my ATH-W3000anv to such an extend (cable - pads - dynamat xtreme - Saati acoustex) that it is much closer to the Eikons now so my brain does not go into a shock each time I swap headphones. I will post about my W3000 moddings in the ATH woodies post soon and maybe some more comparisons...
