I generally try to follow the capsule wardrobe concept in all aspects of my life. As part of that, if something doesn’t get used, it must go, regardless of how much I like it.

All prices include PayPay fees and shipping via UPS Ground in CONUS. I’ll be transparent about shipping costs and upgrading to air usually isn’t too much more expensive.

    Friends and Contributors only, please.

    SOLD - Valhalla 2 w/ 16 tubes including Amperex 7308 – 300 USD

I’m the fourth owner of this. Acquired from @fraggler last year for ~310 USD. No original box or feet. Some light surface scratches on aluminum, but nothing major. Included are:

    4x EVA Anti-Vibration Pad Feet, 2”x2”
4x Socket savers, one has a chip in the porcelain
6x 6N6P tubes (one pair sounds like crap)
    4x 6N1P-BN tubes
    2x 6N1P-iv Rocket tubes
2x Amperex 7308 (work perfectly, no clue about hours)

    SOLD - Massdrop x Fostex TH-X00 Ebony – 350 USD

Bought from Massdrop earlier this year and has not seen much use. There’s some light scratching on the right cup and a small nick on the right cup. But can be seen in the attached photo. I can’t recall what this originally came with, but includes the carrying bag that came with it.

    Sennheiser HD600 – 200 USD

I love these guys, but next to my HD800 and HE-500 they see no use and sit in their box. I am the third owner of these and acquired from @Mystic for 200 USD last year. So far as I can tell, these are in minty fresh condition. All original packaging included. Pics will be up later or upon request.

    Shanling M1 – 80 USD

Again, another item I really like, but that does not see much use. This will be clearing the way for a something like a ZX2. Some light scratches on both glass sides. All original packaging and accessories included. Pics will be up later or upon request.

SOLD - Yamaha RX-V663 – Free to a Good Home

This guy is sitting around and doesn’t get any use. I’m not sure that anyone here will want it, but hey, maybe someone needs a receiver for their garage or something. This comes with the original box and all accessories. Sometimes the A/B speaker selector needs to be toggled a couple of time to get the right channel to work after power up, but it’s been doing that since about 2010. I’ll quote up shipping for this, but expect about $20 in the North East.

    Cheers!

Let me know if the deal on the Yamaha falls through. I could definitely use it.

    Thanks!

FYI @Vansen, received the Val2 today. Really nice contrast to the Jot, surprised at the open soundstage and flavor! Using what I think are the stock tubes so far.

    Thank You!

Man that Valhalla 2 has been around. I think you are the 5th owner here at SBAF.

I've decided to keep the M1. The HD600 is still around.

    Hi @Vansen,

Curious about these output tubes, are they a good example of a worn out tube? I see what you mean, they are distorted and seems to get worse with volume.

    Thanks!

    Lol. Nice pic.

I honestly have no clue. The part number on those tubes is slightly different the others - the suffix, I think. It may be the wrong tube for the job. I'm sure someone around here would be able to answer the question if you posted the tube model in the Valhalla 2 thread.

Thanks! Didn't see the different # -- these have an extra -И

Looked it up, those are the pulsed variation: 6N6P-I "И" for I, pulsed operation. The data sheets says used for low frequency amplification.

Sigh ... I really can't justify rebuying an HD600 (I gave mine, which I loved, to my little brother) since I have an HD800 and my LSR305 gets a lot of use these days. I might bite if no one takes it ...

If you still have the HD600's I'll take them. I don't feel like waiting around until Christmas for the 6XX's.
