My original ad was gradually turning into a total system restructuring, plus some things are already gone. So I decided to consolidate everything into one post. Here it goes:

    1. Schiit Eitr at €180, plus shipping & PayPal fees.
Modi Multibit is gone, now looking for takers on the Eitr! The Eitr now sits proudly on top of my Benchmark DAC1 breathing new life into it. Eitr was bought in late August 2017 from Sonority Audio (Schiit-Europe.com)—so it's practically brand new. Looking for €180, which is marginally lower than the €185 special introductory price for pre-orders and which is not going to be available any more in Europe. Once again: Schiit EU and Schiit Europe both still show this special price, but they are also out of stock. According to Sonority Audio the price will turn into the regular one once they restock. * Sorry to stress this out so explicitly but I've already answered this to fellow SBAFers too many times to bother again. Of course you can wait and see for yourselves 'cause maybe I'll be proven wrong, but that's just the info they gave me.
EItr gone to 'icy' Estonia! Good call, I think I'm gonna miss this part of the bunch the most!

    2. Benchmark DAC1 (black, rack mount version). Hit me with an offer, plus shipping & PayPal fees.
Trusty old-timer is up for grabs. Hit me with an offer, so far I see them going for €600 but I can go as low as €400 (perhaps as a combo offer). To my ears it can still hold its own, especially when combined with the Eitr. I prefer to sell it as a combo with the Eitr because, well, actually that's what I'm riding on these days and I'd hate to break it up!

    3. Meridian Explorer 2 USB DAC/amp in mint condition. Looking for €160, plus shipping & PayPal fees.
Bought from Analogue Seduction in January 2017, it's a really potent day/amp but also the cheapest introduction to MQA which changes its value's worth completely (see, e.g. according to Stereophile). Obviously, still in warranty until Jan 2019. Pristine condition.
Meridian sold in homeland Greece, enjoy!

    4. Sennheiser HD600. Looking for €180 €170, plus shipping & PayPal fees.
No introduction is needed. Kept in a smoke/pet free house (actually my office) and they are in excellent condition. After checking the drivers visually I found them to be the newest version. I am the second owner. The HD600 served me well loosing my virginity to Head-fi ventures, so hopefully they will find a proper home for their next adventure! Box, original documentation and invoice included, although the two-year warranty has ran out. In the pics you can also see the S/N etc so you can check that they are an original pair yourselves. I have run the Sennheiser authentication process successfully, and now so can you. HD600 on its way to Hungary. Happy listening!

    5. Feliks Audio Elise. See my original ad for pricing. Now put on hold because she is off to Poland for a health checkup. Still on warranty, so anything that should be fixed will be fixed. However, if you're interested hit me with a PM and we'll discuss on details (e.g. sending the Elise directly from Poland to you, suggest upgrades now that she's on the FA bench, etc.). Back from Poland with fresh internals! Here's what's changed in the words of Lukasz Feliks:
    6. Various cables can be added to spice up a deal. These include VDH interconnects (pictured on the Elise ad), a Supra 2m USB cable, a set of Black Rhodium Symphony interconnects, one Black Rhodium Scherzo Phono interconnect, one Black Rhodium Super Mains Power Cable, and a First Base Crystal Optical Fibre Toslink cable. If your appetite catches something out of these just let me know and we'll figure out a price.

Shipping from Athens, Greece. Local pickup w/ cash, bank transfer, PayPal option available (buyer pays shipping and PayPal fees).

    don't do it mate!

but if you must, carry on

also the mojo is pretty noisy through USB so plan on trying to fix or bypass that problem with an eitr-like contraption

    Agree with @brencho

Just add Magni 3 to that setup and you've got a serious kick ass setup on the cheap.

disagree, the mojo is quiet when you don't have a crappy source, and no need for a deeffer.

ok let me qualify what i said since i overgeneralized:

for most normos (aka people with laptops or regular old desktops), the thing makes noise. this was true on macbook pro laptops, and 2015 iMac desktops.

so ymmv. i recall you had some pretty sick gear, cables, power conditioners, ad infinitum, so presumably at that point noise is not an issue.

    @brencho Roger that

haha, yes my $100 used desktop is primo, and so is my Monoprice $1.49 usb cable.

There are lots of ways to tame USB for dirt cheap and even a gen 2 Gungnir Multibit can sound pretty darn good via usb when you tweak the source a bit.

    As with any setup YMMV.

Maybe try using an coaxial cable between eitr and modibit before you downgrade.

But yeah, I agree with @brencho, mojo without a defuckerfier is not pleasant, certainly not better than modibit (and that was without an eitr).

Sorry for crapping your thread, but friends shouldn’t let friends go backwards...

I literally have both of these setups right now. The Mojo sucks ass with regard to EMI shielding. If you don't need portable, please reconsider. It's a substantial downgrade.

Hah! So crazy to see this kind of traffic in my lowly ad!

I'm doing this because I intend to use the Mojo as a transition DAC/amp in order to pursue an altogether different path in my audio chain. That means that I am gradually dumping most of my head gear, namely my Feliks Audio Elise with premium tubes, my HD600, my Meridian Explorer 2, and even my old Benchmark DAC1. I currently have a Mojo in my hands as a loaner from a friend, and it plays really nicely with my HD650; so I'm thinking to keep these two and use the rest to finance my way to pricier gear. Feel free to tell me if I'm wrong about my line of thinking.

Any of you guys interested about this or the rest of my gear, pm me or wait for more ads as I didn't want to clutter the FS thread. Or, you can find the ads I already posted on that 'other' site—same handle as here.

PS. Good call on the interconnects, they really do play a part as I found out recently, especially on the S/PDIF side. Snake oil my a$$, cable signature is for real!

Here's my Schiit stack attached to the Elise. The VDH cables I'm using are somewhat dark. Once I substituted the s/pdif cable with an old Black Rhodium Scherzo everything came alive! Couldn't agree more that the Schiit stack is indeed good Schiit.

Okay, ask @Bill-P what portable DAC/amp works best with the HD650 before you commit to a mojo.

Price drop. Trade w/ Mojo is still on the table but money will do just fine. My thanks to @Bill-P and @zerodeefex for offering me advice!

Meridian gone. Mild reduction on the price of the HD600. Truly a bargain at the price!
