My current go to is the Mionix Naos 7000. Fits my hand and preferred grip style just perfect.

If you have a reasonably large hand and like a good palm style mouse, I would highly suggest checking them out.

Hmm, might add that Corsair MM600 pad to my next Amazon order... fUnc is dead, and even tho my 2nd Surface 1030 will probably last me quite a few more years I definitely have the space for something bigger on my new desk. Spendy for a pad but I like the dual surface shtick...

fUnc is now bought up by Fnatic Gear. the Fnatic Boost Control / Speed are equivalent to Rough / Smooth of the fUnc Surfaces.

I used a G502 for a year+ and loved every second of it. It's still going strong...
but I recently picked up a Logitech G900 and am thoroughly impressed. I think it's close to perfect. The wireless performance exceeded my expectations -- it tracks perfectly on my favorite mousepad, the Artisan Shiden (white, glass coated, apparently it caused problems with some mice). The wired mode is actually pretty great, too -- the wire is really nice and supple, and connecting the wire is foolproofed thanks to the winged 'guides' on either side of the connector.

The clicking action consistently feels great.

I prefer the button placement on the G502, but I was able to find a serviceable mapping using Logitech's G900 software. The software was a bit buggy, which was a bit of a shock because the software for the G502 is rock-solid.

Unfortunately, I'm not a fan of Logitech's products aesthetics... at least their new G logo is a bit cooler, but I seriously do not like how the G900 looks. I can overlook this, though, because it gets nearly everything else exactly right. Hats of to Logitech.

I highly recommend the Logitech G900.

Yeesh sorry to hear you had such a bad experience. I think some of your points are a matter of opinion. I'm not saying you're wrong, but I wanted to provide another point of view:
    - Uncomfortable in the hand, Left and Right click buttons are really thin and leave little room for your fingers, the additional buttons next to Left click are more of an inconvenience than anything.
I found the mouse comfortable enough, and thought the additional buttons next to the left click were very useful. I used them as my shortcut for Wards in League of Legends, and used them to navigate through tabs in a web browser.

    - Mousewheel is really far back, maybe I'm just too used to Mionix mice now but having to move my finger back up to use the mousewheel sucks. Maybe it's a small point but it makes a world of difference to me.
I didn't have any issue with the mouse wheel

    - Bloated software, expected from Logitech though
I thought the G502 software was a work of art -- seriously, I never had such a flawless software experience when customizing a mouse. I had issues with Razer's software (sooooo bad, crashes frequently and would take a while to apply settings...), Roccat software (slow, seriously 2 sec delay for everything -- unacceptable in this day and age; not intuitive), even the software for Logitech G900 (crashed a couple times, lost settings once, gets stuck sometimes). G502 software is so fast, intuitive, and flexible, and most importantly, stable.

    - Not sure if it was just faulty, but because the mouse feet are so small the magnetic bottom shell that comes off to reveal the slots for additional weights sits flush with them and as a result, makes their movement on my mousepad really rough and even scratched and left marks when I was trying out the 'surface optimization'. Was much smoother when I used it with this part removed completely.
I know what you mean -- my friend's G502 was similarly 'scratchy' for some reason. My G502 does not have this issue. It bugged the crap out of me when I tried to use his mouse... but he didn't seem to mind, somehow. It 's a shame that this may be a common issue.

I really like my MM600; my first aluminum-backed mousepad. I thought it was such a luxury when I impulsed purchased it as I was picking up my i7 CPUs from Microcenter. I exclusively use the smooth side. One issue I had with the pad is that the aluminum flexed in the middle. I put a thin newsletter I got in the mail underneath and have no issues.

I received the G900 for free, so maybe I am a little biased but it is in fact close to perfection. Perhaps the only flaw I can find is that it is a little back-heavy in terms of it's weight distribution, but I quickly got used to it. I am now retired from competitive CS but in my short tests I think it's pretty safe to say the average person playing on a non-optimized setup will not be able to distinguish between the wired/wireless performance on this mouse.

I went with the Corsair Sabre RGB and am very pleased so far. The form factor took a little getting used to (I don't think it'd be good for a palm grip), but now everything feels smooth and comfortable.

The customization features are nice and it feels solidly built. Can't ask for much more, especially at the $50 price point.

It outperforms most other wired mice in wireless mode anyway, but it's certainly not the best Logitech can do. Some guy did a DIY build of a wireless mouse with lower latency than the G303 (about half the click latency) however the battery life is terrible.

I was happy to use my $20 Logitech Marathon wireless mouse for Overwatch till I read you guys geeking out over gaming mice. Kept telling myself I didn't need one. Well, after much deliberation, I got a Logitech G502 (I can't live without Hyperscrolling) and so far really like it. Definitely cut down a smidge on firing delays (hitscan players hit more now), and aiming is a little smoother and more precise with the better sensor. It definitely has gotten rid of some of the slight irritations I was experiencing, but has revealed the limits of my aiming now :( Not sure it was necessarily worth $70, but am just going to enjoy it (kind of like my headphone stuff).

Well my Razer Mamba 2012's right click finally died on me. Been looking at the G900 and the Zowie EC-1A. I know we have discussed the G900 and was hoping to get some information on the Zowie if anyone has one.

I've had my Zowie FK1 for a while now (about 2 years I think) and it has been pretty solid. I like how simple it is, plug and play, no drivers. Mine is the older yellow version with the slightly heavier clicks but it doesn't really bother me.

I just read that the EC1-A is the spiritual successor to the Intellimouse and I think that just sold it for me. I had one of those when I was younger for almost 4 years before my cat ate the cord on it. Thanks for the input as well about the drivers. That's the one thing I hated about my Razer mouse is the stupid Razer Synapse would break and was a huge memory hog but was the only way to change the sensitivity accurately.

The next step is to get a comically huge mouse mat, and set your sensitivity up properly to take advantage of it. That's quite a shocking improvement in aim, pretty much instantly. All of a sudden, my Zarya is terrifying :punk:

I have the Mionix Castor. I think I want a wireless mouse now.

It's hard to have good cable management without having the cable leading to the mouse somewhat taught, which leads to some snagging every now and then. I'm no FPS player either so I don't need its pinpoint accuracy. Its grip and rubbery texture is nice though, as is the rgb LEDs, which can match whatever theme I'm currently using.

I'm also using the G502 and I'm a big fan. Its really precise and very comfortable, unlike the G500S I had before it.

G502 and Roccat Kone are the ones I use. Both are excellent. I also have a G602 that I don't like. Too much wireless lag, I think.

I use a deathadder, because out of all the amazing options that exist for lefties, well it's symmetrical or this. so I have a lot less difficulties finding my ideal mouse ^_^'

I had a deathadder 2013, but alas I had scroll wheel problems with it starting like a couple months later. I used it for quite a while after that though.

A month and a half ago or so when I built my new computer I got myself a Logitech G302, I like it quite a bit. I wanted the sensor but didn't want the transformer-esque 502, and I'm a claw grip user anyways

G900 user here. It's very precise and light mouse. Over priced tho'. New champion already ordered: The Z.
