Will also include the above be balanced cable for 15 dollars extra. I believe it was made by Impact Cables. The paracord is slightly frayed by the XLR but it works just fine.

Thousands (actually tens of thousands) are begging for the Massdrop HD6XX @ 200.00, and yet these are still here at 225.00. People are very, very strange. I'm looking at you Head-Fiers.

I have HD650 and HD6XX, and even I am thinking of buying these to be my modded pair.

I'm totally surprised too... I've dropped the price to 225 on headfi and only one message of interest. Go figure...

After the HD6XX came and went, I have read numerous posts on Head-Fi stating thoughts to the effect of "I'd never pay over $200 for a HD650. That is what the HD6XX sold for.". Like that is the height of logic or something.

Edit: Have you looked at what they go for on ebay lately? (A great deal more than $225.)

I did look at eBay... see a lot listed for 300 or so. It I'm curious what they sell at. Have to figure that 10 percent in as well.

Spent a little time fixing the frayed paracord this afternoon. Re-terminated and added some shrink tube.

If you search on Sennheiser HD650 and click the "Used" and "Sold" boxes it will list all that sold recently. I scanned the results, and guesstimated about $260. Then I saw that ebay had done the work for me "Trending at $269.50". (I think that is an option that a seller can have displayed.) That "Trending" does not include any shipping charges. I have not looked recently, but back when I was it seemed that over half looked like they needed new ear/head pads. That adds quite a bit to the total cost for the buyer.

I am not suggesting selling your's on ebay. I have never sold on ebay myself (costs & seems like more potential hassle) but many do. I was just suggesting that you are not asking too much. Maybe the timing is not right?
