Thank you so much for saving us from ourselves. Lord knows without your guidance, @Griffin might not have heard ringy stuff, or I might have not noticed that too, and the excess bass, and thereby be mind controlled into pronouncing that all three new models were going to replace my Andromeda.

Ultimately, I don't see how this affects the decisions and decrees from the Klingon High Council, Starfleet Command, or the SuperBAF Plutocracy. You may want to take these issues up with HF and the Changlings in the Gamma Quadrant.

    Time for a new avatar.
    Time to be cool.
Time for some ‘much needed’ likes.
    I need friends.

My aim, apart from becoming more popular, is to reach 6,716 posts two months before my third anniversary as a SBAF member.

Mr Marvey, please feel free to permanently ban me from this site. One thing I’d like to ask, though, if you decide do so: Just do it, don’t say a word or give any sort of explanation, but please leave this post as is.

Drama? Gaza Strip?! Ego trip? Paranoia? Condescension? Childishness? etc., etc., etc.? Oh dear, dear , dear…

@music_4321, "Oh dear, dear, dear..." I have had some long days recently and they seem longer when some twit puts on airs about how much they know and how much they are misunderstood and they always ask to leave their post or thread as is.
    You like KC?

Ooof, first time listen...tough, heartfelt song, not easy to classify. Reference to 70s NYC totally unexpected...they could have scored Taxi Driver.

Thanks @Merrick , that was good...

Check out Larks' Tongues in Aspic, Starless and Bible Black, and Red. Perhaps KC's three most fearless albums.

That song was from Red, btw.

Ah yes, those few scant 10-15 years when Peter Gabriel isn't busy.

Here’s a suggestion for Mr Wilson & Mr Merrick, if you appreciate KC: listen to the third track I posted (an improv from KC's last gig in the 80s [1984 in Montreal])— forget about that awful sparrow for a moment, take a short break before posting AND actually listen (pay attention) to the music.

The Belew-era KC is not my favourite KC.

I think my next post will be: “Please ban me permanently, Mr Marvey".

Your long winded and circular posts are the original reason I asked for a translation. It would seem as if terseness is not a developed skill in your literary arsenal. Your writing style, while eloquent, reminds me of a 8th grade writer who just tries too damn hard and ends up using more words than necessary. Having @Kunlun , who is a similarly mentally disabled IEM zombie, translate your scribbles was surely not fair, so I did decide to go back and read what you actually wrote. Unfortunately his summary, while not charitable, is not far off from my own interpretation at this point. I've read through this whole thread actually and it's difficult to be charitable to your bitter and spiteful posts that seem to assume the worst in us. I chose to address that specific point because it seems to be your major delusion (i.e. equivocating us to HF, Jude, and paid shills).

We always keep each other in check on these things, so to try to reframe your original bitching as this is quite disingenuous.

The sense I'm getting from you is that YOU need to have the biggest latest bestest stuff, so the fact that the Andromeda has been replaced in the CFA lineup as the flagship has slighted some part of you. Given that @Marvey and others have seemed to express a preference for the Andro as opposed to the new stuff, perhaps you should be able to feel safe and cozy in your original purchase. Could be wrong here but otherwise it seems as if you already know what you want in your audio chain. To continue your bitter tirades serves no purpose but to solidify your own wavering opinions that just can't be reconciled against other opinions for reasons that the sane among us might never be able to understand.

The overuse of ten-dollar words and compound sentences is the mark of an amateur or someone using his writing to stroke himself.

Yes you do. Like, ones in real life. That you can hang out with. Maybe have some fun. Instead of spending all that time spewing verbal diarrhea all over the Internet.

You go to such great lengths, using a false sense of self-depreciation to portray yourself as being indifferent to dislikes or being banned; being on a higher moralistic plane -- isn't it more intuitive to achieve that by spending less time on here as opposed to more?
