Can someone link me directly to the firmware updater utility thingie? I never found it.

Maybe it will bring my 2ASE back to life. :(

Received my GO2pro today and it will not work with my iPhone (7 running iOS 11.1), cutting out after a few seconds of play and crackling/popping. Tried it with my wife’s iPhone (6s running same iOS) and it doesn’t cut out but still crackles and pops.

Works fine with my MacBook. Guess it gets returned or sold now, since it was supposed to replace my GOv2+ that has a broken balanced out.

Brief impression compared to the GOv2+, in order of most noticeable to least noticeable is: wider but closer stage, slightly brighter, better low end extension at the cost of some clarity, slightly better resolution.

Just a warning. Version 2.1 firmware has issues. It causes my go2a infinity to periodically lower the volume at random. Pressing one of the button restores the volume to the correct level but its annoying. It also makes the unit run extremely hot.

Unfortunately LH Labs has yet to provide me with a link to the Go2a Infinity 1.5 firmware so I'm stuck with a buggy and maybe dangerous unit. I spent way too much money on both the original go2 and then the 2a upgrade for this lack of support.

been using my GO2A Spec Edition daily at work (with a MacBook) for months without the lower-the-volume problem reported above.

yes, case is hot since the amp runs at full bore all the time IIRC.
am back to sitting it on a small aluminum heatsink again.

To my understanding, there is no way to revert back to 1.5. If you'd like to revert back to 1.5, I think it will need to be done in-house. I've asked Matt to contact you back over this so he can talk to you about options.

Can anyone recommend a 4 pin xlr to 3.5mm trrs adapter to use with a GO 2 Pro Infinity? Seems simple but I understand there are different patterns of 3.5mm TRRS jacks, and I want to make sure I don't waste $30 on the wrong one.

I am contemplating ordering one from Norne audio, but was hoping to find one that is cheaper and doesn't have to be custom made with the associated wait time.

Also, I'm planning to use it with a mr. speakers 4 pin XLR female cable termination, I don't know if there are actually different 4 pin XLR patterns but Norne has 3 options (HD-series, Neutrik-XX, and Norne Modular) for it, and I'm not sure which one mr speakers would adhere to. Thanks.

When used for balanced headphone use, both TRRS and XLR are standard. It can differ if the TRRS and XLR are used for mics. For the Norne options you are simply picking what kind of XLR you want. The Modular option is for a mini-XLR. Not what you want.

Has anyone gotten their GO2PRO to work with USB C phone connections? I have a new Pixel 2 phone and cannot get the audio to work. My previous phone had micro usb and worked fine with a cable like THIS . I tried to use the same connector with a USB C adapter and it did not work.

USB C doesn't need an otg cable. Just get a straight C to Micro cable.

The little adapter that came with my Pixel worked with a GO2A Infinity.

Theoretically, the Wave boards should be arriving by Wednesday, assuming the factory shipped them out on time and the 3-5 business day ship time is correct.

Some of you may have received or seen that Gavin Fish sent out an email hawking a new product he was hired to hype.

Re: Gavin’s Email -- I talked to Larry, and he is not happy and will talk to Gavin about it. He wants me to make very clear: this has NOTHING to do with LHL and we were not informed in any way this would happen. So we apologize for any anger brought up because of this email campaign you were subjected to.

Anyone who is interested already probably knows, but our Wave forum is up now and is being monitored and responded to. Larry says he is willing to be on that forum and answer questions. (as well as on the other LH forums there) The IGG forum section is no longer being utilized to hold discussions:

    https://support.lhlabs.com/discussions/forums/13000000602

If anyone has any question for Larry, I encourage you to go over there and post. Or if you're not interested, I can always copy and paste from SBAF. But we are trying to get away from the IGG platform as a discussion tool.

Found a decent USB C cable on Amazon and everything is working well. I wish it was a bit shorter in length, but the shorter right angle versions make it difficult to connect balanced so this will do.
