LOL! I love that park. We did a few kid birthday parties there. It's awesome.

Thanks for all the info. I'll have to try some things when I get back from vacation. I'll need to find a suitable area with electricity that won't bother too many people.

Extraordinary and very detailed review, congrats and many thanks!

I got a couple of MR6 MK3 and in my living room sound is quite flat, though a bit lowered the bass response, but inside my bedroom bass is better, but there are a couple of picks around 80Hz and 120Hz that I needed to notch'em down with a couple of dB from Foobar's parametric EQ.

I see the same low-quality electronic parts inside, which is normal, because both MR5 and MR6 share the same PCB and probably the same parts; only trafo has probably different voltage rails (mine has 2x16V/2A). Anyway, in this price range, all brands are using the same low-qual components inside their monitors: KRK, JBL, M-Audio etc., feel free to google about it and see for inside pics of their monitors and subwoofers. Probably spending 10 USD more on better caps means a fortune...don't know (at least for the caps from the power source, decoupling for opamps and direct signal path).

I'm also using an isolation transformer, because I got a bit of hum and buzz initially in my bedroom, but will post my review soon.

    Best,
    Raul.
