Interesting. I love Vali 1. This is a pretty big change, going with ECC88 instead of the little 6088s.

If for no other reason than the ability to roll the tube, this should be a bigger commercial success than Vali 1 which I always thought didnt get the love it deserved.

@feilb, the Vali definitely got the recognition and love it deserved. I don't remember if you were around CS when the Vali was first being discussed, but it was hyped like crazy even on CS. Schiit delivered with the Vali 1 and made a truly great sounding amp for the Senns and Beyers.

I wish I had a use for a second amp, but I don't. I'm sure the Vali 2 is going to pull off some ridiculous magic that puts its performance perhaps close to the Valhalla 2.

Looks interesting. Can't wait for some feedback once people start receiving them.

Is it me...or is that a weird looking little amp? Looking forward to hearing reviews though!

Now this is what I'm talking about! Was all set to get a used Vali 1 to feed with my GOV2 to get some tube goodness for my HD650s (Valhalla 2 was just a bit more outside of what I wanted to spend and too big for my desk).

YAAAHAHAHAAAA! That's got to be the dorkiest looking amp I've ever seen! I bet it sounds great. :p

And Jason lied to us all. Only a year ago or so, he said we'd be waiting a loooooong time for a Vali 2. This was only a year!

I had a Bravo 6922 amp for quite a while with the cheezy laser cut acrylic "case." I like this a lot better. I might try removing the paint and brushing my Wyrd case to have it match in a stack.

Nice! It looks like I got everything I asked for ;) The Uber metal chassis, rollable tube, and a preamp output. This looks boss.

It looks uber-boss with that erect hot tube protruding through it's chassis.

    Specs look awesome too!

Yes, my first comment on seeing the production metal with the tube in place was, "Well, it's happy to see you."

Agreed it does look a little dorky, but at least you know which product goes on top.

(Wow, that sounded weird, too. Never mind.)

Anyone know if the preamp out auto-shuts off with headphone insertion?
