On my way to Houston

Here's what I'm driving to the Lone Star state to operate, a Hydrovac. It's basically a giant shop vac with a pressure washer. We use it to slurry the ground and suck it up to expose underground gas/water/power/fiber optic lines without damaging said lines/utilities. It gives the customer an exact depth, so an excavator can come in and safely remove the earth to that depth without damage. A damaged fiber optic line can cost BIG $$$ to fix... I operate a few other pices of equipment as well.

We'll most likely be using the Hydrovac's to clear drains, man holes, standing water, besides it bread and butter, "Daylighting" utilities.

Some photos from the trip so far. I'll be in Houston late tomorrow or the day after.

Nice! I love that they have Papadeaux in the airport! Except they don't have my fave at that location (stuffed shrimp).

Pappdeux is good. There's a lot of great Cajun and Mexican food in Houston. I would have told you to go to Frenchy's if you were in the mood for fried chicken.

Dang, too late. I did enjoy Canes chicken fingers. Surprisingly moist and tender for fast food, not to mention their special sauce.

I will return to The great state of Texas again, that's a must. Next time for leisure !!!
