    Gotta have Chester Thompson... This duet with Phil had evolved over the years, with this clip looking like it was taken from the latter years. The mullet years might have been better.

    Drums on this sound huge and the drumming is great throughout. Drum break at 6:40 during the intro from "Waste of Tiamat" is nice and tight.

    Anything Art Blakey ever did, especially Caravan but there is outstanding drum action on every Blakey album. Also Billy Cobham Live on Tour in Europe although he can get a little wild at times, also a lot of great drumming on Cobham albums.

    Saw Buddy Rich in concert once, you would never imagine anybody could slouch like a complete jellyfish with no spine and like he was about to fall asleep put so much of himself into drumming.
