RHA are upstanding guys & their stuff tends to have an excellent price-performance ratio IME so it'll be interesting to see how this one goes.

I don't care about the DAC/amp at all but the CL1 with the piezo driver looks pretty interesting.

2.5mm trrs, 3.5mm trrs, 4.4mm trrs, ALO/RSA, and now mini xlr. Great... It must be a conspiracy by the cable makers to force people to buy more adapters.

They're using sMMCX for the cables on the CL1 as well, interesting. I think Final Audio uses the same connection in there new F7200.

At least the mini XLR is reasonably easy to solder for DIY cables.

Mini-xlr as a connector into the cup is moderately common, but who in the world uses it on the amp end? Not saying it's wrong... I've just never seen it that way.

    The times, they are a-changin'

Mini-XLR seems like a nice choice for balanced into a small area.

I really love mini-XLR conceptually; 2.5mm seems too easily broken, difficult to solder and the female sockets have been known to get loose. I just wish there were less "standards".

I might have to put this up against the Sony PHA-3 to see which I prefer for my Andromeda's. I think they both have a ~2-3 ohm output z.

I really like the looks, although I never care enough to ever buy anything based on that.

I'll be ordering it. Love RHA products. As far as balanced, I feel overrated unless you need more power.

Using a balanced system might help you from tipping over while listening and drinking.

Anyone have some more thoughts on this one yet? I am planning to up my portable audio game and this is intriguing. Nowhere really for me to try so I will be buying blind. Tempted by the Mojo too but I have a demo lined up for that one.

If you really want a Mojo, you can have mine for a sensible price- but I wouldn't recommend it, honestly :)

I prefer this over the Mojo, mostly due to the hardware controls. It's a fine device.

Np bro. I know there isn't much out there on this device. I like it a lot, I think it's much more versatile than my Mojo, primarily because of the hardware controls. I haven't compared directly, but the one thing about mojo that I love is the black background. I think the dacamp is either on par with the Mojo in that aspect, or very close to it.
