*Except the cables. My big-hifi-buying fantasy includes disappointing salespeople by firmly refusing the sort of cables they sell in display boxes.

 

I don't need furniture. I couldn't afford it after one of those anyway. Just get a studio apartment, put that in there, put a small mattress on top, and I'm good.

Those do break down in to 3 more manageable sections, not that I'll ever have the joy...

 

I assumed it was to keep excess humidity from deteriorating the cloth on them. They are also in a box to keep them from fading and they look brand new so I'm happy.

 

I remember when I considered these to be porn. I still think they look beautiful but tame by todays slightly ridiculous standards.
