I dislike most electrostatic speaker designs, but I like this one:

You know, some people say that foil is good for wrappind sandwiches and some say that it sounds the best. But this aside, it usually takes way too much space!

And these speakers you posted? Intimidating as hell! But in a good way... :headbang:

I follow a few interior design blogs on tumblr. I came across this on one called bearsdrinktea.tumblr.com. I love the Pioneer CS-99A. Spouse friendly and blends in well. Not placed well, but who cares...

Yes, they are. Not during every presentation out there, but they can be damn impressive.

I haven't heard them but they have a stellar reputation. The ones pictured are the MBL 101 E MkII (56700€ a pair, VAT included).

The ported bass cabinet and the internal passive crossover are a bit head scrathing for me considering the omnidirectional driver and the price tag, but if had to choose between the MBL system pictured here and a pair of Kef LS50 in a dungeon...I wouldn't mind owning a pair of MBLs :D

I've heard them at a couple shows and in someone's dedicated listening room. I always find them underwhelming at shows, but the dedicated room (with the same electronics you pictured) was stellar.

Heard a much smaller (not that much!) pair. Yes, they are good, and provide a different sort of experience. The right words are hard to find, but... maybe a bit more like being able to walk around among the orchestra instead of being stuck to a seat in the audience.

    My lifetime goal:

Apogee Full Range with new and improved Graz's ribbon drivers (0 problems unlike the originals, much improved design based on the original drivers, much tighter tolerances, CNC machined instead of hand made, etc you get the point)
