Just to make sure this has some visibility. We will be having a local meetup at Blink HighEnd in Cambridge at 1:30 on saturday 11-11. Blink will be hosting us in their new studio on the 4th floor. Parking may be an issue but I think we are in for a treat. We are currently tracking about 14 people to attend between Head-fi and Superbestaudiofriends. Please let me know if you can attend, it is a secure building so we will need to have our names with security. Hope to see you there, Lou.

Ok here is some info from Blink on parking and some demos they will have for us:

Parking is usually best at the Parking garage at 260 Green Street, ($2/hr, best value) corner Green / Pearl Street, two blocks from here. To walk to Blink High End from the Garage, walk towards Brookline Street, then take a right on Brookline for one very short block, left on Franklin, 1st driveway to your left after the playground (about 2 min)

    Alternate parking:

    • the meters on Sidney Street, Brookline Street,

    • Parking Lot #5 near H Mart or the parking garages at STAR MARKET /.Green Street ($12/hr, $30 for 3 hours) or voucher if shopping at STAR) (Star Market, past the Le Meridien, corner Sidney and Green, also to be entered at 55 Franklin Street) or the

    • parking garage at Pilgrim Street ($12/hr) (coming from Mass Ave, turn into Sidney, 3 short blocks, turn right).

Please send me a list with names of the members of the group if you have it. If you send me their emails, I can instruct them, or just forward this info.

People can call us at the office 617-225-0700 when here and we meet them at the concierge as they need to sign in (a valid ID is required).

Yes - Pork is PorkFriedPork. He will still attend the meet, the loaner ZMF Auteur headphone that he was going to bring to the meet will not be there.

Sorry for the last-minute question, but I've never been to an audio meetup before -- how do people usually handle music for listening to the equipment? I.e., does the setup's owner prepare a playlist, or do people bring around their own files, or how does that typically work?

I updated my mostly Massdrop gear list in @Lou Casadonte's post above. @CEE TEE should be proud! I'll have two stations setup with identical music for desktop stuff. I'm not much into desktop gear, so I usually just roll with my IEMs or speakers.

@nithhoggr most people use a laptop to a dac, with either flac library or tidal. Then you listen to whatever you can on the hosts system.
