Maybe. But I like simple. Maggy said "...and when your tears have drowned you, the valonqar shall wrap his hands about your pale white throat and choke the life from you". So we can speculate that Jaimito is the valonqar. But I think Tyron is the valonqar. And the main reason for Tyrion to be anywhere in the vicinity of Cersei is if he gets kicked of the Dany's Dream Team, cuz he betrayed her and didn't tell her all that went down in that meeting with Cersei. After yet another heart break, Tyrion will do what he does best and do more Lanisters, this time himself included.

But it could be also that plot-titics will go down cuz Aegon screwed Dany, and such and such will have such and such non-simple repercussions.

Winterfell is lost. Bran and Arya will die there. And so is Pot Pie and Sansa. Aeon will kill Daenerys to get his Not-The-Nite-Pimp mojo going. Not-The-Nite-Pimp and The-Nite-Pimp will go as matter and anti-matter stuff and will take all the magic with them.

Missandei dies. Theon dies. Tromund dies (probably he is already dead). Brienne dies. Bronn dies.

So let {X} be the set of all living and animated death things in GoT. Let {Y} be the subset of {X} in GoT that represents all characters that we know off so far. The subset of {X-Y} represents a set which contains all the things surviving in GoT at the end of season 8.

If one wants to be more precise, just increase the size of the {Y} subset to include all animated death things in GoT whether we known them or not.

I'm a little unsure that six episodes (8 hours total?) will be enough to wrap up the first 70 hours of build up without 'fast travels' and 'just go with its" in the writing...

With the current writer(s) approach, it will be Frodo doing his toilet face.

It's cool. Everybody dies time/space traveling fast.

No. Though the Night King is already dead, he and all his buddies will die also.

YES. And this is another huge hope of mine.

You don't have to have a huge battle...you just need the Night King dead and everyone he has sired will fall as well. Let's turn this into an assassination mission moreso than a huge drawn out battle...we've had enough of those and they're growing very stale.

The deal is, the Night King seems to be able to sense living stuff. Maybe Arya can become the ultimate faceless dude and impersonate a White Walker?

And what about the Ajojo Ajaji prophesy?

I'm not saying Arya marches in there alone. I don't know how her role fits into it.

I'm only saying the plan revolves around taking the Night King out...I'm sure you'd need to feign a huge battle to pull it off, but the battle would be a time tactic rather than an actual means to victory.

Might be leaning towards an Eastworld next season, if the samurai weren't just put in as random statues. I doubt they would have done that and not had a follow-up planned for them.

Unlikely, as far as I go. Remember season 1 and 2 endings with Danaerys rising to great effect (and naked) from the the ashes, with 3 baby dragons, and then later on being thrown in the air by all the slaves she had freed in the far East. She's been pitched as the savior much stronger in the show than in the books, and I think it's a no-brainer that she saves the day at the end with her dragons; somehow. (Plus she's with baby now, so she can't die at the very least until the baby is born and safe.) She's always been the champion of a more humane, democratic -- as long as she rules, of course -- rule in Westeros, and after ALL the destruction of the silly Westerosi wars and the undead caused, she will remain a ray of light for what remains of the realm and a glimmer of hope for a new beginning. A kind Targaryen resetting the clocks, if you will.

It's... complicated. Tyrion has been in similar positions before in the books, and he's always taken a very... hmm... strange approach to it. He never really betrays, but he's never not thinking of Lannisters' interests either. A very conflicted kind of political player, and extremely cunning in his own way. (Hard to describe without going into a long discussion...)

I like this better than my "everyone dies" theory.

In my theory both Mickey and Mimi Mouse die. In this one at least Mimi pulls through to take care of a bunch of kids that look like Mickey.

I would love for Dany to make it. I don't care that much about Aegon this time around. I used to. But everything he touches turns to shit. I put the blame of Viserions death on Aegon and Jude.

Tyrion is an enigma. He drinks too much.

Thought about this some. The writers spend a month straight smoking pot and drinking heavily. They come up with this.

The first five episodes consist of nothing but battles. Land, sea and air. No one is getting an upper hand. Stalemate. Samwell Tarly discovers an ancient scroll which he took with him when he left the maesters. In it we discover that all this has taken place 20,000 years after the fall of modern civilization. In the scoll it shows the location of an ancient mountain said to possess unbelievable power. Cercei finds out about the scroll and seeks out Tarly. He refuses to hand it over and has Tarly killed. Cercei insane after killing both her brothers and having a miscarriage discovers the inside of the mountain is hollow. It turns out to be NORAD. Wildly pressing buttons she launches all the leftover nuclear weapons (which have been protected by a spell cast by the Children of the Forest.) The last scene shows all the surviving cast members watching as mushroom clouds appear all over the horizon, rapidly getting closer. The screen suddenly shows a blinding flash of white light. The screen fades to black. Westeros has been completely vaporized. Not even bacteria survive. The End.........

That would be about as awful as the ending to the American version of Life on Mars...

True. But it would take care of all the plot holes. Provide continuity to the dumbing down of dialog scenes. And most importantly, explains why Bran just doesn't seem to give a shit about anything anymore. :p

GoT ends with Charleton Heston discovering a half sunken Statue of Liberty just before Bob Newhart wakes up and realizes it was all a dream.

For me the second was awesome. It was hard to adjust mentally to the complete and total -- not just radical -- change in story, environment and characters, but once done, the story was just as captivating as the first. I very much hope they won't cancel the series just because the 2nd season wasn't universally well received...
