Holy cow. This is what I miss when I go on vacation. Will head toward the Shittr next weekend to check it out. I am assuming that Schiit will make this?

Not quite if you look carefully. The platter isn't as monstrously thick. There is no large plinth. The plinth looks likes a cast metal skeletal frame that is resting on the top shelf of a rack. There might be suspension underneath. I can't tell. The arm looks to be a unipivot type. Would love to take a closer look at that arm. Looks totally no-frills / anti-jewelry.

That Project Signature table is $5k+. I can't see Schiit wanting to hit this price point (a lot of the cost is the machined big aluminum platter) and sell three of them per year.

Still, can do some fun stuff with this - multiple motors, arms, DIY high mass plinth, etc.

I think @landroni is confusing the shelf top as the plinth.

IMG_1023.JPG I think it looks similar to the Michell TecnoDec, but I am biased since I just got one. Currently, it is sitting on top of an Emotiva ERC-3.

Oh schiit, this should definitely be a thing. Especially if its at a good price, and one I can afford.

Just when I thought I was out....you pull me back in! This deck and it's features at the price point your guys are shooting for looks insanely disruptive to the middle priced market. I'm very excited to see where this goes. You guys continue to amaze.

Yikes!!? A TT from Schiit....that would mess with the vinyl and over-priced TT makers for sure! The Yggy + Roon has rendered that religion dead to me but happy for all the Licorice Pizza lovers out there!!

    Or coax to BNC.

I ordered a Monoprice female RCA to male BNC adapter after I ordered the Eitr this morning. I use my Gumby's coax input with my CD player, so I'll use the adapter for the Eitr to feed the BNC input on the Gumby.

Benchmark makes a RCA to BNC cable but only comes in 1.5 or 3 foot lengths, and I need at least 6'.

I didn't want to wait in queue for the Gen 5 USB to be installed. I will order one when the fellas at Schiit catch up with production and offer a self install option.

Dumb question, why would you need it?

Edit: I truly meant it about my question being dumb. I just read through the Eitr preview thread, I understand the excitement now. I assumed most of SBAF folks are off of USB.

My Gumby has the 2nd gen USB board. Immediate upgrade is the only reliable cure for USB Nervosa. Ask your doctor if it's right for you.

Ordered the Eitr, though I already have an Intona to break a ground loop and have been very happy with Yggy over USB or TOSLINK. Not expecting miracles, but hey for < $200 shipped, worth trying.

Since Schiit seems to be going from obsolete to prehistoric these days, I thought Mike and Jason could use some design ideas, like this:

And if that doesn't work out, I'm always game for a brand old Schiit Iron:
