That is one expensive system that Suncoast Audio has put together there.
    Speakers are MaGico M3s ($75,000.00/pair)
    2 REL G-1 Mark2 Subs ($5,500.00 each)
On the far left and right are the monoblock amplifiers (SERIES 7 SOULUTION 701 MONOAMPLIFIERS $155,000.00)
Soulution is a Swiss company and on the rack the Soulution Preamp $26,000.00 to run the MaGico M3s.
I can't tell what turntable and the 3 other units on the stand yet.
But this is as much as a Ferrari.
Setup for Johnny Depp or someone that likes to spend insane amounts of money.

Listening sessions today have concreted the sound is spot on with the Krell back and Mark out. Mark was sent packing, and for good reason. The sound from it could not produce the schiit, just like the Vincent SP-331. I said see ya. Don't let the door hit you in the ankles. Back in box on the landing, and for sale on US Audio Mart.

The more expensive and twice as powerful $7.500,00 Krell KSA-200S (here Friday)......
Will it bring a break thru in the system? We shall know quite soon.

The SingerX SU-1 is on it's way as well. Coax USB fix for FLAC files up to the standard of a Redbook CD. Re-clocking Data for $400.00

I'm afraid to ask, but do you have any idea who makes the acoustic treatments in that room? And more importantly, how much? They appear to be equal parts form and function.... The WAF to performance ratio looks good to me.

    More goodies arrived for Wednesday....
Singxer SU-1 USB to Coax Box
Better sound with reclocking USB data and sending out thru connection of choice (Coax to Modi Multibit for me)

Singxer seems to be cost effective if you are going to use an upgrade path to a DAC that uses AES input. $399.00. Not a bad deal at all. Great reviews.
    Here's one review....

FLAC files on my Surface 4 clone tablet should show much improved sound using Coax input to Modi Multibit, compared to just straight USB into Modi Multibit.
    Results coming....

After some hair pulling with the non-signed driver and other fun, I got the SingXer SU-1 working in the system. Took about 25 minutes to get the settings just right. Now I have to check the firmware version, and update that if needed. The SingXer SU-1 sits underneath the Freya. The Freya is suspended on spikes for isolation purposes. I take some of the hocus pocus seriously and spiking the preamp is one of them. Very sturdy equipment setup above the Krell. The SingXer is too big to sit on top of Freya in case you wanted to know.

The SingXer SU-1 is I'm sure still warming up those insides, so I expect the sound to get better as time goes on.

Listening to some of my Country favorites thru the SingXer and I decided to try Randy Travis. Randy has a very distinct voice and the USB to Modi Multibit couldn't get his voice to what I know it could be.

Lo and behold the SingXer SU-1 has brought Randy Travis to my livingroom. He now sounds like the Country singing legend that he is. This tells me that the SingXer upgrade is reclocking the USB signal from the Win10 Tablet and sending out a nice clean signal thru the Coax cable. I'm using a Morrow Audio Reference 3 Digital Coax cable to Modi Multibit. A bit more warming up and we'll see what this puppy can really do. More to come.....

Ok. That's enough of the men bumping chests.
You want to hear some of the funniest rants from a guy who lived close to where I grew up. This is REALLY TRUE when I was little what I heard around me. I swear.....

This guy is a professional comedian FYI, funny as hell.

Friday the benchmark Amplifier the Krell KSA-200S should be showing up at my door.....

The Power Cord that I bought from Mercury Magnetics is 12 Guage high-grade copper. Don't think that it is going to be as much cable as really needed to run this monster. It will come with a 6' cable, but that won't reach the outlet. "Captain, we need more power".

To hell with me spending $800 or so dollars to get a audiophile 10ft cable. Because I need 10' minimum, and 12' cable would even be better, there is not any good off the shelf alternatives.

A project is in order. Build what is not readily available. I checked my guy that I get the interconnects from...... $881.00 for a 12' Power Cable to run the amplifier. What?
Build one my freakin' self, I say.

    Parts List:
-- (3) 12' runs of 8 guage high grade copper
-- (1) Male high grade grounded connector
    -- (1) Female E13 high grade connector
-- (1) 12' clear vinyl sleeving to hold cables

And if I'm lucky, these spades will fit into the plugs and there will be a real pro connection setup without having to wrap around the wires after silver soldering them.

Total Cost is $80.00 and that is with the fancy Krell name and Gold Plated connection plugs. Otherwise it would be $38.00 cheaper. I could use the black nylon stretch sheathing, but I want to try the clear plastic vinyl to show the colorful 8awg wires. Should work. If not, I will go to the stretch sheathing.

This will allow for massive current flow at 12 feet distance from the outlet. Longer run necessitates more for this monster of an amplifier.

You know the $80 you spent on a new power cable could buy around 400ft of the 14/3 solid core in your walls...

    But I don't know what's worse, that or feeding a $250 DAC with a $400 DDC.

Be careful lugging that amp around. I saw weight stated as 110lbs and as 130lbs (maybe 130lbs is with packaging?).

I didn't see a dedicated Krell KSA-200S manual online. Here is a manual for the KSA series.

    @Dino
I know what you mean about heavy. I had some time with the 112lb Mark Levinson No.331.

I mentally prepare, and am very much a planner or how to get it out of the box and onto the stand. The harder part with these suckers is getting the plastic around them and back into the box. Holy shit, that's a chore. I'm a big guy and I can lift that amount of weight no problem. Just have to be careful. Thanks for thinking of my well being.
