WTB- Dekoni TH-X00 pads

Long shot, but anyone have any of these pads of any sort?

If not, ill just have to wait for the next drop, whenever that is.

 

I'm in the same boat. Hopefully they will drop again soon before the Emu Teak's are ready. It's really the only thing that I didn't like about the original TH-X00 and supposedly the Dekoni's are a big improvement.

 

Yeah, the Dekoni pads are a huge improvement over stock. It's the core component of my HE-5 mod.

I'm waiting for the same thing to drop so I can use it on another headphone.

But alternatively, I think the Dekoni TH900 pads might be better for TH-X00:

Better comfort at least. Better sound is debatable, I think, so you'll just have to try and see.

And IIRC, the TH-X00 pads were like $49.99.

Those are the Dekoni TH-X00 pads.

 

I tried Dekoni TH-X00 pads on the ebony. I didnt like them and moved back to the stock pads.
I didnt have those attenuation rings though. Dont know if they help much in the sound.

 

Which flavor? They have several, including a fenestrated sheepskin which, in theory, sounds like a great thing.

 

I tried the sheepskin leather th-x00 pads.

 

I'm sure this has been noted elsewhere but the Dekoni pads are up on Massdrop again. I went for the Hybrid Elite for my upcoming Emu Teak. We'll see, I guess.

 

Just be aware the fenestrated earpads had a giant black smearing problem

 

I got the fenestrated earpads with attenuation ring on this last go around for some PH. They haven't exhibited the smearing issue yet (maybe it'll cover some of the gray hairs). I do find them a lot more comfortable on the cooling side. Otherwise, I'm neutral on just feel of them versus the stock. I do like the sound a lot more. I'm not some golden eared headphone reviewer, but they seem to open up the sound stage quite a bit and the sound is more detailed. Maybe it's just the placebo of dropping money on them. anyway, my two cents.

You guys should make an offer on digitaldj's ebay listings for any dekoni pads you want for $10 less than the asking price. They accept sometimes.
