    Ahh yeah that makes sense, that last thing I do before we send headphones out is pad match, so anyone who owns Eikons make sure you keep each set of pads together if you have more than one set!

    But after a lot of use this isn't completely uncommon, I'll make sure this set gets new pads and a full check-over before going on to the next person!

    Sorry to resurrect a long dormant thread... I am a new owner of the Eikon... How did the saga with this particular pair turnout? Were there further tuning done in general to the Eikon line that would show up in more recent units?
